Hi,
Apologies for any inconvenience caused by this thread.
Does 1 require a UK Visa if they are travelling on British Airways? As i have my parents travelling from India to USA on British Airways(they have Multiple B1/B2 US Visa)..
Spoke to BA &they advised me to speak to UK Consulate.:(
Any info be helpful.

You need a UK Transit Visa only if you don't have a valid USA VISA stamped in the passport.
My Parents always use BA, and they never take a UK transit visa.
But if i use BA to visit India, in the near future i would be taking a transit visa, as my H1 Visa on the passport has expired (Using H1 Extension Approval right now)

why dont you call the head branch in USA, and ask them if you can use this degree for immigration.
Cause I have my MS from NEWPORT and when I asked them if I can ues it for my GC then they told me that it cannot be used for immigration.

I'm with Michael on the lizard shot ... maybe it's the disconnected rear foot that makes it look odd.
I REALLY like the water lily shot, Josh. The composition is beautiful, with the other lily pads forming a "circle of circles" counterbalance to the flower. Very, very nice ... in fact, probably my favorite of all your posted photos. (not that I have anything against the others)

I have a generic question which some you might know the answer to:
1) Why TSC is late in issuing receipt compared to NSC?
2) Looks like more applicaiton were filed at NSC than at TSC, Why?
3) Why even then TSC is late in issuing reciept?
4) Which one is faster in approving 485, TSC or NSC?
5) Does any body know how many application each service center recieved during the VB fiasco?

I said that as the LCA results will be out in 9 months or less according to the current scenario which gives me time for filing the I-140 before July 2011. Shouldn't I be having a 3 yr extension then? The Talent services Manager at my office said so..

Sure. You need to work outside the US for the sponsoring company in a managerial capacity for 1 out of the 3 years prior to filing the I140. So if you are on a H1B and are a manager, you can sign up for an assignment abroad to fulfill that requirement.

First thing you need to understand is there is nothing called sponsoring a visa. You are basically saying that you will pay for their trip.
If they have enough fund, it is better if they say that they will pay for the trip themself.
As for other documents establishing ties, VO mostly does not ask for additional docs. They rely heavily on what is written in DS-160 and on the interview. If they have other children in India, it is best to carry a family photograph. Also, ask them to answer to the point ... who is in India, who is in US, what they do, etc.

The first one is best, since you got the eye. The focus seems just a little soft, though. The eye is the key to getting the viewer to connect with the animal, IMHO, and if you get the eye in sharp, a little softness elsewhere will not really hurt the shot. It's hard to get these little guys though, and the color is fantastic.

We filed 485 on Jul 2nd. So far no receipt yet.:(
My wife's F1 status is going to expire in Aug. She needs to change her status to H4 now. Will the status change have any negative influence on our 485 application? Do we need to send some amendment regarding the COS?
Btw, which center she needs to send COS this time?:D :D Thanks a lot.
In a memo posted by the USCIS (in the press room tab) appears a notice where they say that receipts of july filers will be delivered by August 1st.

Hello All,
For the Visitors Visa(for parents), can a photocopy of Pay-check's be sufficient. Since the last few pay-rolls, my employer is giving everybody a photocopy of the Pay-check from Pay-chex Inc.To reduce costs of printing and mailing the Pay-checks, My employer is asking Pay-chex Inc to email the Bi-weekly pay-rolls of everybody.
Wondering if the US Embassy in India would create an issue by not bringing the original Pay-stubs.

The Department of State has published a pamphlet educating nonimmigrant visa holders on their rights. The pamphlet covers the visa process, important documents, workplace and employee rights, human trafficking, and how to file a complaint. This is a very useful document, not just for immigrants.
