I just posted our issue of Legal Immigration in "Discuss" section of this news at yahoo news. Because these Groups are only raising the issue of Illegal Immigration Reform.

Are you able to edit a post in the Yahoo News discuss section?
Not sure whose post it is in the Yahoo News discussion section, that references Immigration Voice (it is signed by Shan) it would be great if the person posting could correct the spelling of legal (it now says Ligal) in the subject header.

Have you made any specific plans?
If i select Yes, then it gives following option:
'intended date of arrival to US' and intended date to return back from US'
If i select No, then it gives following option:
'intended date of arrival to US'

As you will have a valid H4, you can try using H4 at the port of entry but it doesn't matter even if you use AP. If the Officer at the PoE objects or raise questions pertaining to your work status then you might want to use AP. Your status will not affect your spouse (or entire family) Green Card process.
Your status depends on your spouse's status. If your spouse is on H1B; you can always convert your status to H4 even if you use AP at the port of entry.

I received a RFE asking for evidence that could prove that currently I am on a non-immigrant status. I abandoned my F-1 status after I filled my I-485, and from what I knew you were supposed to have the corresponding status before you filled the I-485 but there was no need to still have it after you got the AOS.
My question is if there is a possibility that what the officer is asking for is evidence that proves that I HAD the F-1 status before filling the I-485 and if I abandoned it after filling it.

One of the questions on I-140 RFE goes like this:
"Submit evidence that the alien obtained the required two(2) years of programmer analyst experience in the job offered before the priority date was established on June 26, 2006. Evidence ...."
In reality the labor was filled for this EB3 I-140 in August 2003. This is not a substitution. I dont understand what they mean by "establised on June 26, 2006"? Can someone interpret this?

The priority date of the spouse or child, accompanying or following to join such an alien shall be the priority date of the alien spouse or parent.
